Please don't tell the tourists about this place.. Very good hole in the wall. Great service. Amazing chile (I was seeing through time after eating the green). Nom Nom!

Authentic New Mexican food by Meow Woof exhibit. The salsa is so full of flavor that we aren't use to it! Good spice and lotta heat . Go green if you're a weenie but it'll still be hot! We enjoyed the service and the food so much. Great price for the food you get! Ambiance is divey but the food is lit.

So while visiting NM we were looking for some authentic Mexican food and on our search this restaurant popped up on our search bar that was only a couple of minutes away from our stop at the local Walmart. And they did not disappoint. Small hole in the wall ,nothing fancy but the old school diner type feel. Pretty wide selection of options to choose from. Service was good and we felt welcome. Kinda seemed like alot if regulars were coming in and out and some gentleman seemed to be chatting it up amongst each other enjoying thier breakfast and coffee with no one rushing them out. Tortillas? Geez straight out of the kitchen and yes when I asked for more I had to wait a couple of minutes because they were in the process of making more, worth the wait! Anyone that has had fresh homemade Tortillas knows what I'm talking about. Very reasonable and nice portions. Check it out if your looking for small and local and not a chain

This place is so authentic. Visiting town from Texas, I gotta say the food quality here is better. Had a chicken enchilada and a plate of Sopapillas. They were so delicious. Adding that the food price is reasonable (especially when inflation is high) and staff is friendly, I appreciate the dinning experience here.

Excellent service and great food! They make you feel right at home. We tried the tamal, yucca frita, and sopa the pata. Everything was fantastic. We would be regulars if we didn't live 848 miles away! :)

Perfection! So delicious, absolute perfection. Tortillas, chips and sopapillas all homemade. Green chili was my favorite. The chicarones were a little greasy but not bad and the posole was served on the plate without the soup, never seen it that way before. Do yourself a favor and try it.

Don't be fooled by the look of this restaurant. Top class food of New Mexico style food. We had a combo each and it includes everything we wanted including carne adovada, which is such a delight!!! Margaritas was similar to what you get in Mexico, very good. It's not sour or too sweet, just the right balance. The price for food and drink was very reasonable compared to what you might pay in downtown area. It came with sopapilla. It was god but we were so full that we took some home. Next morning we had it for breakfast but it got so tough even after microwave. We suspect it might.... At least we enjoyed it yesterday. We are very happy to find this hole in a wall restaurant. We highly recommend this eatery!!!

Tasty Mexican food, no frills joint, mostly a locals hangout. I'm a light eater, so really enjoyed getting inexpensive items off the ala carte menu. Homemade tortilla or Sopapilla-$1.25 each, smothered cheese enchilada - $2... Our favorites: sopapillas, papas, crispy beef tacos, huevos rancheros Red or green chili is not for the weakling.
